Item Description
Lot of four different magic tricks issued by White King Soap as premiums in the 1930s. White King Soap was the sponsor of the "Chandu The Magician" radio show (1932-1950) on the West Coast. Lot includes three boxed magic tricks - "Chandu White King Of Magic - Card Miracles, Chandu Magic Cones" and "Chandu's Assyrian Money Changer." First two boxes are lightly aged and have trace handling wear. Card trick box is missing instructions and one inner flap but boxes are o/w Exc. w/NM contents. Last box shows wear as mailed and is VG w/Exc. contents. Envelope contains instructions for how to perform "Chandu's Waters Of The Nile" magic trick. Envelope is aged w/staple hole at side but o/w VF w/Exc. contents. Lot comes w/additional order form for more tricks.
