Item Description
Thin art board has 5.5x19.75” India ink image area w/Skeezix in all four panels for July 7. Skeezix gets vacation approval from grouchy boss Mr. Chigger and calls Nina on phone. Art is signed by creator King in panel four. Complete w/two Chicago Tribune copyright pasted strips. Margins have dust soil and notes, all four panels have ink crop lines at bottom for printing in smaller newspapers, image area otherwise Exc. Begun in 1918 and still running today, the strip was the first to have characters age as years went by. Well drawn w/nice use of light and shadow.
