Item numbers 1 through 1007 in auction 214
Item Description
c. 1930s. 1.25x2” long metal belt buckle with maker name on the panel that would grip the belt “Harris Belts.” Front of the piece has high relief portrait of him with “NY” logo clearly seen on his cap. Additional accents include pair of crossed bats, pair of baseballs, and his name as a facsimile signature running above the lower end of each bat. Tiny bit of silvering loss but mostly on the upper side edge with only a few tiny dots off the front upper right corner. First we’ve seen in several decades.
