Item Description
6.5x21" thin artboard has India ink and blue pencil art by Al Taliaferro in four panels. Donald Duck appears w/Ludwig Von Drake in three of four panels, Ludwig in all four. Donald and Ludwig are dining out when young woman asks Ludwig for his autograph. She reads it and asks "But Aren't You Scrooge McDuck, The Millionaire?" Ludwig answers "Nope, I'm Ludwig Von Drake, The Scientist!" which causes her to tear the autograph in half and walk away. Art was penciled by Al Taliaferro and inked by Frank Grundeen and is dated "9-22" w/Walt Disney Productions ©1967 strip paste-over on second panel, King Features Syndicate strip paste-over on last panel. Art has applied screen tone shading accents (missing in one place) which have tanned as is typical over the years. First panel has tiny spot of staining and second panel has pinhole at top. Art is o/w Exc. Nice example w/Donald and Ludwig together.
