Lot of six glass items, including five drinking glasses ranging in size from 3.25" to 6.75" tall and single 3-7/8x3-7/8x.75" deep glass ashtray. All date to c. 1950s. Each features Cleveland Indians mascot Chief Wahoo. Smallest glass is snifter-like in design and features full body image of Chief Wahoo. Next features Chief Wahoo's face and "Good Luck Reading Indians For 1955 'Wahoo' - Follow The Indians" text. Reading Indians were a Cleveland Minor League farm team. Next largest features "Cleveland Indians" name and image of Chief Wahoo that is very similar to the popular ceramic figures produced at the time (see items #935-940). Next is beer glass w/"Let's Go Tribe!" text and features Chief Wahoo leaning on "Genesee Beer" logo. Last glass is frosted and Chief Wahoo at bat w/over-sized head; "Indians" name below. Scattered lt. wear, VF-Exc. overall. Ashtray features back-painted design of Chief Wahoo using bow to shoot baseball bat at ball in the sky. "Indians" name appears below image. NM.
