Item Description
This promotional recruitment kit was issued by the Civil Air Patrol, an auxiliary of the the US Air Force. "Introduction To Civil Air Patrol" manual bears 1958 copyright and comes w/six 5.5x8.5" manuals (each typically w/60 pages), six records and six films in small metal canisters, each w/matching titles - "Power For Aircraft/Flight, The Problems Of Air Power, Aviation And You, Navigation And The Weather, Aircraft In Flight" and "Airports Airways And Electronics." Comes w/original cardboard shipping carton, which shows moderate wear and is VG. Manuals have some scattered wear but are VF to Exc. overall. Records come w/original paper sleeves which show wear and records themselves are Exc. as are films. Comprehensive, extensive and informative lot.
