Item Description
Lot of four pieces of animation paper ranging in size from 3-7/8x7.5" to 6.75x8.5". Three feature full figure images of Donald Duck while other features full body images of Donald's Nephews. This art dates to c. 1938, early in the Nephews' history. Sheet has some aging at left corners but art is Exc. Art featuring Donald wearing ship captain's uniform is from 1938 "Sea Scouts" short. Art featuring Donald w/goat is from 1940 "Billposters" short while image of Donald w/hand on face dates to c. 1940. Second, smaller red pencil preliminary image on this sheet as well. Sheets are lightly aged and have lt. scattered handling wear but art remains Exc.
