Following Houdini's two-picture stint in Hollywood, he returned to New York and started his own film production company, called the "Houdini Picture Corporation," going on to produce and star in two films, "The Man From Beyond" (1921) and "Haldane Of The Secret Service" (1923). Certificate No. 680 is dated Aug. 19, 1921 and has been stamped w/embossed "Houdini Picture Corporation - Corporate Seal 1921 - NY." seal. Certificate was registered w/The Citizens National Bank Of Boston and has been signed by Secretary/Treasurer and President Harry Houdini, whose signature has faded a bit but still remains legible. Certificate has three vertical folds and scattered margin wear including .5" spot of surface paper remnant at top left. Fine overall. Comes w/"Duplicate Agreement" No. 3112 for the Houdini Picture Corporation which has been made out to same investor as stock certificate. Inked signature of purchaser w/promissory note dated March 14, 1921. Three horizontal folds, middle fold line showing moderate wear w/2.5" ragged split. VG. Houdini signed stock certificates are very rare. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
