This aviation character was sponsored by Kellogg's with the radio shows written by Captain Wilfred Gibbs Moore who was also a coauthor on The Air Adventures of Jimmie Allen. This ring dates from the late 1930s and features brass base with adjustable bands. Each side has a five-point star design. Top of the ring has a clip which holds a piece of litmus paper that would change color according to humidity in the air but no longer active. Essentially Mint luster. Best of the few we've seen.
