Item Description
16x26x40.5" tall pinball game in walnut wood case under glass and on original metal frame stand. D. Gottlieb & Co., c. 1931. Case has "Baffle Ball" cast iron title header at top and playing surface features baseball diamond design w/large "Baffle Ball" name at top. Each "base" features different color painted cast metal trap and playing field is covered by an array on nail/pins. Second base has impression surrounded by horseshoe image w/"Baffle Point" text. Additional playing field text notes "10 Balls For 1¢," indicating this is a penny machine. Two blocks at bottom left/right list "Rules And Scores" as well as "Instructions" for play and right side has launch ramp w/spring plunger. In good working order, comes w/five steel balls. Playing field and launch ramp show some scattered wear/trace oxidation as does coin slide, but game is in Fine/VF condition overall.
