Lot of four pieces of art by Mike Royer, a comic book artist and inker, best known for his work w/pencilers Russ Manning and Jack Kirby. In later life Royer became a freelance product designer and character artist for The Walt Disney Company. Sheets measure between 7.5x7.5" and 13x17". Smallest sheet shows pen and ink image of young punk couple about to get into car on city street. Next sheet has two 6" dia. scenes w/pen and ink Nativity Scene and blue pencil image of Ten Commandments tablets. Next sheet features image of gorilla w/mechanical claw climbing through jungle. This is pen and ink w/blue pencil. Smaller portrait image of gorilla at bottom left. We are unsure, but this appears to be part of a toy design. All are Exc. Last sheet features full body image of wizard character w/"13" on chest and moon/star motif. Wizard sports long Fu Manchu mustache/goatee. Two larger portrait images of character appear at left. This sheet is lead/blue pencil w/additional colored pencil accents. Sheet has creasing at corners and is VF. All have been signed by Royer.
