Original 1935 glossy photo is 8x10 professional studio shot done for Gum Inc. of a pair of open display boxes full of gum packs and also containing Vol. 1 (first version) & Vol. 2 albums (see following lots #2628-2630). Also shown is an open/flattened wrapper (3 character variety) and card number #96 w/gum. The amazing display boxes feature Mickey images on all sides as well as box bottom of one. Photo has been mounted to a stiff paper sheet. Top margin of photo has .25x.5" sliver missing. Otherwise just slight aging but remains totally bright, clean and glossy. Fine. In our 48 years we have never seen or offered one of these boxes (let alone a full box as seen here) so this rare promo photo represents an amazing document of a Disney and non-sport rarity that may never be uncovered.
