Item Description
Pair of half-sheet posters, each c. 1936. First poster measures 21x27" and features large text design that lists "Tom Mix Circus" name and notes "Tony The Wonder Horse" along w/text circle that touts "Colossal Array Of European & American Stars." Printed by U.S. Ptg. & Eng. Co. of Kansas City, MO. Poster was folded at one point and has some scattered restoration in the form of some ink color touch-ups and tape repairs on reverse to some tears measuring 1" to 2". Fine/VF. 20.5x28" "Tom Mix Lion 113" poster features inset photo image of Tom Mix w/great image of leaping lion. Printed by Central Show Printing Co. of Mason City, IA. Poster is evenly aged and has some fold lines. Pinholes at corners w/some tape repairs on reverse to a few small edge tears. Fine/VF. Fred Hoffman Collection.
