27x40" one-sheet poster features wonderful portrait image of "Bring 'Em Back Alive Frank Buck," advertised as "Positively Appearing Twice Daily In Main Performances." Printed by The Strobridge Litho Co. c. 1938. Buck is surrounded by a veritable menagerie of wild animals, including an elephant, lion, leopard, rhino, chimpanzees, hippos, giraffes, a zebra, tiger and more. Poster is a bit brittle and as such has some small scattered edge tears along w/two 1.5" tears along top margin and larger, 13.25" vertical tear to right of Buck's portrait, crossing hippo's open mouth. This (and the two 1.5" tears) has had tape repair on reverse. Bottom margin shows scattered wear from removal of date sheet. VG/Fine overall, but would display nicely if framed as larger tear blends somewhat. Fred Hoffman Collection.
