Item Description
Pair of 8x10" signed photos. First shows Chuck Yeager, record-setting test pilot who in 1947 became the first pilot confirmed to have traveled faster than sound. Signed in black felt tip pen. Second photo shows group of three P-40 Warhawks w/the graphic Flying Tiger nose art. Photo has been signed by David Lee "Tex" Hill, World War II Flying Tiger ace who received three Flying Crosses and two Air medals as part of the 1st American Volunteer Group of the Chinese Air Force during 1941-1942. Hill's group helped protect the Chinese border against Japanese invasion prior to US involvement in the war. Photo has been signed in black felt tip pen "'Tex' Hill – A.V.G. Flying Tiger" in black felt tip pen. Both are Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COAs.
