Item Description
22x28" thin cardboard poster for review concert that took place Nov. 16, 1955 at the Magnolia Ballroom in Atlanta, GA. Concert was produced by Dick Boone of Universal Attractions and included - Jack Dupree and Mr. Bear, Earl King, Little Willie John, Little George Smith, Marie Knight, Otis Williams and His Charms and Hal Singer and His Orchestra. All have photo images by their names. Top margin has been trimmed w/most of sliced area still attached. .25" strips missing in 1.5" and 3.5" sections. Entire right margin has been professionally replaced. All color matches perfectly and three performers' heads along right have been replaced w/replacements directly sourced from Globe Poster files. Rest of poster has some small scattered touch-ups. Left margin has some tiny nicks but still displays nicely. A rare poster featuring some rather obscure acts.
