Item Description
There are four different Willkie buttons that picture boxing champion Joe Louis. Two different 1.25” say “Joe and I For (or Want) Willkie.” There is a 1.5” which says “Joe Louis For Willkie.” This rarest variety is 1” and is the most directly stated endorsement saying “I’m For Willkie/Joe Louis.” In addition, this is a real photo button without dot pattern and with crystal clear photo. The button has outstanding gloss, perfect centering and is complete with its St. Louis Button Co. paper. NM displaying Mint. Our last example exceeded $800.
