Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 5" tall w/7.75" dia. painted tin toy w/hard plastic dome on top covering jointed three-dimensional tin litho "Space Pilot" astronaut figure (from the waist up), who sits at tin litho controls. Top of saucer has two plastic-tipped wire antennas and single spiral-shaped antenna at front. Made in Japan by Cragstan/Yoshiya, c. 1959. Box shows obvious wear w/tape repairs to lid interior to tears. Lid has one corner split and plain cardboard box bottom has scrape to bottom surface. VG overall and still nice for display. Toy no longer lights but antennas revolve, still produces "Space Noise" and features working "Mystery Action." VF/Exc.
