This saucer has "Five Little Nigger Boys, Sitting On The Shore, One Fell Into The Sea, Then There Were Four" text and image showing four boys sitting or laying on beach (one w/pot on head is fishing) as fifth boy appears to be drowning. Over-the-paint orange accents. Art has artist Leslie Irving's name. Text shows lt. wear and silver luster rim accent shows moderate wear. Paint to handle of child's pot helmet is mostly gone. Fine overall. Rare and first we've offered in our 48 years. See following item #817.
