Item Description
21.75x35.5" thin cardboard poster for concert that took place Aug. 29, 1964 at Carr's Beach (a segregated beach) in Annapolis, MD. Concert was headlined by "Washington's Billy 'Fat Boy' Stewart" and featured "Baltimore's Royalettes" as well as The El Corols, The Corolettes, Little Sonny Warner, Miss Betty Wilson and Alfred Jackson. Poster features photos of all acts but The Corolettes. Printed by Globe Poster of Baltimore, MD. Poster has even moderate aging and shows moderate wear along bottom margin w/corner creases, 1.75" tear at left and .5x1.5" staple pull at top center. VG. Rare.
