Original 6x9.75x1-7/8" deep illustrated cardboard box features image of Buck Rogers w/Wilma Deering blasting advancing robots w/Daisy Atomic Pistol. Back panel features illustration of gun in included leather holster. Box has all-over child's inking on front main panel and has scattered handling wear w/some neat glue repairs. One end panel and one inner flap are color photocopy replacements, but these blend well. VG overall. 10" long gun similar in style to Daisy's U-235 made in 1945 in black or silver finish (see following items #2344-2345), this is gold variety only made in 1946. Gun works and produces a loud pop. Designed to spark, though flint is missing and no longer sparks. Flint is easy to replace. Area above trigger on left side has embossed "Buck Rogers - 25th Century" logo w/small full body image of Buck along w/gun/company names. Gun shows just trace wear to raised portions of gun's design, w/all gold luster remaining. Exc. Comes w/6x7.75" embossed leather holster and belt. Holster portion has embossed "Buck Rogers Atomic Pistol" name and space designs. Holster shows scattered wear from use but is complete w/both leather accent tassels. Still displays Fine. Scarce w/box.
