Original illustrated cardboard box contains two-piece 6-1/8" tall painted resin statue/case depicting beloved Star Wars Astromech droid R2-D2. R2-D2's dome head lifts off to reveal original foam packaging insert which has 1-3/8x1-5/8" gold luster metal case watch w/original black leather bands issued by Fossil as part of a numbered limited edition, and this is from even more limited "Gold Edition" released in 1997 in recognition of "Star Wars" 20th Anniversary. Dial features full body silver relief image of R2-D2 on dial w/raised full body image of C-3PO in gold. C-3PO is separate from dial surface as designed. Dial also features classic "Star Wars" logo. Back of watch case has "Star Wars" Rebel logo and etched "011/500" low edition number, which matches label on box. These watches (one was issued for C-3PO as well) were also issued in a much less limited edition of 3,000. Comes w/worn Fossil COA and warranty folder. Watch has original Fossil price tag attached to band, noting original issue price of $120. Running. Watch and figural presentation case are NM as issued.
