Item Description
8x10-5/8x7-7/8" tall tin litho store canister w/hinged lid (w/wooden knob) at front. Spaulding & Merrick/Liggett & Myers Tobacco Co. 1910s. Top of canister has "4 Dozen - 48 5¢ Packages" and "Sweet Cuba Fine Cut" name. Sides and bowed front feature image of packaged tobacco, marked "The Kind That Suits." Scattered aging and wear w/scattered oxidation on underside and scattered traces of oxidation to exterior, mainly along edges of lid. VG overall.
