Item Description
Somewhat larger than typical size at 1-1/8” with upper rim hole as issued but also with a small hole in the lower rim which was added. Front text reads “Abram Lincoln/Free Soil & Free Men.” Surface has about a dozen short hairlines that catch reflected light but otherwise do not show. The only actual emulsion loss is a pinpoint speck off the very bottom edge, barely seen. Opposite side reads “Hannibal Hamlin/Free Speech.” Emulsion is dark and has about a dozen long hairlines that catch reflected light. The single missing piece is an 1/8” chip off the bottom edge. Image is still clearly seen. The Lincoln side still displays very nicely and with a very clear portrait.
