Item Description
1-1/8” in brass with his portrait, his name and the date on the obverse. Typically the reverse shows a gun boat with text “Monitor 1862” but this is a variety with three large letters spelling out the word “KEY” and the individual letters are inscribed “Ornamental/Medal & Seal/Die Sinkers/& C./329 Arch St/Phila.” This is all against a field holding 33 stars.
