Item Description
First is 2-9/16” large embossed brass shell jugate with covered tin reverse and horizontal bar pin. Rim text names them along with slogan “Sound Money And Protection” and the piece has outstanding NM bright luster. Second is 2-7/8” tall “Victory” bar suspending American flag ribbon and a jugate brass medallion. Slogan on reverse “Patriotism/Protection/Prosperity.” NM. Third is 2.5” tall embossed brass badge with eagle hanger at top and ornate suspension below with a brass outer edge and a silver inner circle surrounding his paper portrait. Very slightest general tone on the portrait but with NM luster and overall Exc. Next is a 2.5” badge with embossed brass shield hanger joined by a loop to a 1.25” silvered brass medallion which has his portrait and “Wm. McKinley For President” on the front with the reverse having a very detailed eagle surrounded by “Republican Candidate 1896.” Exc. Last is 1.75” with a slightly worn fabric joined to a brass frame holding a real photo of McKinley. Mint luster. A nice group. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
