Item Description
9.25x15". Jackson appoints "Samuel Hall" as "Surveyor For The District And Inspector Of The Revenue For The Port Of Portsmouth, In The State Of New Hampshire". Corner mounted to thin sturdy cardboard. Document has three vertical and two horizontal folds with only one vertical fold affecting signature. 1.5" separation at top horizontal fold at extreme left. Overall toning of paper deepest in lower right quadrant. Signature has minor fading of the black ink but remains crisp. VG. Striking and scarce. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
