Item Description
3.5x5.5" Japanese issued w/text in both Japanese and English. Front has full figure photo of three players on a ball field and wearing their "US" uniforms. This includes HOFers Herb Pennock and Waite Hoyt, third player is Joe Bush. Their last names are faintly inked below images. Front shows lt. aging, tiny surface paper nick on the face of Hoyt. Reverse is unused but w/all over lt. glue staining from once being scrapbook mounted, bit of surface paper loss at corner. VG. Hoyt and Pennock achieved great success w/the NY Yankees, both winning multiple World Series w/the team (Bush also won as a Yankee in 1923). Hoyt was the winningest pitcher for the Yankees during the 1920s and Pennock is regarded as one of the greatest left-handed pitchers in baseball history.
