Item Description
Original 5x7" glossy silver gelatin photo on 7x8.5" cardboard mount as issued. Mexican League team is shown in "Red Eagles" uniforms and posed on a ball field. Standing at center is HOFer Martin Dihigo. His teammates include Santos Amaro, Barney Brown, Silvio Garcia and Julio Rojo. This "Dynasty" of the Mexican League was led by Dihigo who helped them win back-to-back championships in 1937 and 1938, the first titles in franchise history. There are four tiny insect holes but all well above the team image. Trace of aging. Image is sharp and distinct. Fine. Personally owned by Martin Dihigo and comes w/COA signed by his son Gilberto Dihigo.
