Item Description
Large and impressive 14.5" tall robot w/tin litho head/body and plastic arms/legs/feet. Translucent plastic chest cover allows for viewing of multi-color plastic gears within chest. This is nine gear variety. Made in Japan by Taiyo, 1960s. Back has tank style battery box cover. Toy works, functions include - walking, blinking eyes, moving arms, revolving gears. All functions work, but robot tends to tip over due to top-heaviness. Stands well for display. One arm has repair w/crack and two small drilled holes, but replacements are easily found online. VF.
