Item Description
See previous item #1592. This is pen and ink original art for "Outdoor Sports" single-panel comic on 8.75x12-1/8" thin artboard. Art depicts baseball players commenting on two men having their picture taken in front of baseball bleachers. "Outdoor Sports" caption box reads "Grabbing A Few Snaps Of The Mayor Of Sinkerville As He Poses With A Home-Town Product." Art was originally signed at lower right, but this has been inked over as portion of shading. Dorman has re-signed at left above text box. Art is dated "6-8" below changed date still visible under ink. 1920s. Some blue pencil shading. KFS copyright strip paste-over at lower right. Bottom left corner has .25" tip off. Artboard has even lt. aging w/some penciled editorial notations at top margin. Art remains clean and VF.
