Item Description
8" long nicely designed w/spacesuit-clad driver seated in convertible which has outer space images on hood/sides including flying saucer, space satellite, and rocketship. Plated bumpers, headlights/taillights and grille. Unmarked but made in Japan by Ichiko, 1950s. Friction works well and as car moves along, spaceman's arm raises/lowers gun and clicking/firing noise is produced. Plated parts remain bright and shiny w/a few small spots of factory touch-up paint on rear fenders. Driver's helmet has some lt. wear but overall, toy remains bright and glossy. VF/Exc. Wonderful concept and design.
