Original 3.75x9.5" nice quality silver gelatin glossy showing full team in uniforms standing in from of empty bleachers. This integrated team employed several players from the Negro Leagues. At center is Webster McDonald and at the far left is Hooks Foreman. Reverse has pencil notations referring to newspaper publication and mentions both men by name as well as 'Negro Players Indicated." Reverse have aging and some surface paper adhered as once scrapbook mounted. Front has minor .25" emulsion flake on pants of Foreman but mostly blends. Lt. handling wear but glossy w/sharp and bold image. Fine. McDonald played for the Chicago American Giants, Philadelphia Stars, Homestead Grays and others while Hooks played for such teams as the KC Monarchs, Homestead Grays and Indianapolis ABCs.
