Item Description
Original 3.25x6" glossy photo showing 12 players in their team's uniforms and posed on a ball field. Included are Minnie Minoso (Santa Clara), Pedro Pages (Almendares) and Rafael "Ray" Noble (Cuba). Several player names are inked on reverse which also shows some wear as once scrapbook mounted. Front has pair of vertical creases at far left, trace of aging at lower right. Front remains glossy and image is strong.
Pages played for the New York Cubans of the Negro League as well as several Latin America teams while Noble went on to join Minoso in the Major Leagues playing for the NY Giants 1951-1953. Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
