Auction #185 - Part II
Item numbers 946 through 2530 in auction 185
Item Description
Superman, who was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, was first introduced to world in the June 1938 issue of Action Comics #1. We have here a 4 1/8” X 6” album page signed by the co-creator of Superman, Jerry Siegel. Page is signed “Best Regards to Ned Rogers from his Friends Superman & Jerry Siegel.” Siegel added a rough head sketch of Superman above. Page is signed in blue ink and has been removed from album, thus having a slightly ragged left edge. This does not affect inscription/signature or sketch at all. Piece would frame nicely. Exc. Comes with certificate of authenticity from Hake’s Americana.
