Item Description
7/8” listed as Sullivan JBELL 1860-38 although that entry specifies red composition while this piece has a composition frame of dark brown. 7/8” diameter with original pink ribbon through the rim opening as originally issued. The “John Bell” ferro displays Mint with just a few pin point emulsion dots off under magnification. The “Edward Everett” ferro also displays Mint with just a trivial upper left fine hairline showing only with magnification. Each side of the frame features two rose sprays with stems intertwined below. A superb example and rare.
