Four other patches shown are for Yankees, Detroit Tigers, Dodgers, Pirates. Giants. Text at upper right "Washington Apple Special" and at lower left "Now! In Each Bag Of Washington Winesaps." Barely noticeable lt. horizontal curl through center, letters "UE" of "League" are printed a bit lightly o/w Exc. Comes w/ six of the seven patches, each about 3" dia. w/peel-off backs and cubs patch not included. Pirates patch is in original paper-sealed envelopes as issued. NM. All patches except Yankees patch are paper patches. The Yankees patch is the same felt variety as found in item #2244. This lot was pulled directly from the Gold archives as found c. late 1950s. Designs are similar to previous item #2245. This item is a file copy from the Gold archives and is accompanied by a letter to that effect signed by Gordon Gold.
