Item Description
7.25x23" artboard has pen and ink illustrations and 4 panels. Harold is smoking and Lillums doesn't like his taste in tobacco. Harold shows off his knowledge of tobacco, only to have Lillums' father reveal he is smoking cornsilk. Signed by artist-creator Carl Ed at bottom of fourth panel with blue ink inscription next to signature "Presented To John Rupe." Light moisture stain, affecting inscription slightly. Copyright 1924 Chicago Tribune with 2-23 date. Top margin reads "Harold Teen - His Perfidity Is Revealed." Margins have dust soiling and corner tip wear as well as pinholes at corners. Art image area would matte to an Exc. appearance.
