Item Description
Largest lapel stud is 7/8" with other items to scale. First is cello lapel stud showing gold bug with golden spike driven through its body surrounded by text "What We'll Do To Gold Bugs." On the reverse the shaft of the circular stud is free to move about but there is no damage to the celluloid. Scarce and displays Mint. Next is a tin lapel stud with cello center showing a silver bug with text around "Silver 16 To 1". Trivial age on reverse. Rare. Next is brass stud with inscription "16 To 1". Left half should have silver luster but that evaporated although the right half with gold luster is unfaded. Fourth is brass lapel stud with text "Silver Is Good Enough." Rare and Exc. Next is 1.25" tall stickpin holding brass shell running pig. Attached to his tail is a circular coin like piece of brass inscribed on each side "Sound Money." This is an anti-McKinley piece which conveys the message 'Sound Money In A Pigs Ass'. NM. Last is 1.5" tall silver bug made of composition material on a stickpin. Bug is high relief on the front and flat on the underside. The bug has a pair of thin wire antenna. NM.
