Item Description
3.5x8" decal sheet features four (three different poses) full body decals of Superman. One design is classic hands-on-hips pose while other two show him breaking chains and flying. Additionally, there are four decals of Ogilvie cereal boxes (one featuring small image of Superman on front) and "Superman Says... - If It's 'Ogilvie" - It's Good!" text decal. Released by Canadian Ogilvie Cereal Co. in the early 1940s. This company also released a rare Superman premium badge. This decal sheet was likely issued as a box insert premium as well as a mail-away premium. Decal sheet has even aging and is unused w/original protective sheet on top adhered to decal sheet. Despite this adhesion, decals remain complete w/just some scattered aging at top. Fine overall. Rare, one of only three examples known to us, and the last example we offered sold for $1,380.
