Item Description
11.75x16" portfolio contains complete set of 13 limited edition prints featuring the art of Underground Comix artists, each print having been hand-signed by its respective artist. Published by Schanes & Schanes, ©1980. Portfolio shows obvious handling wear/dust soiling w/.75" stain on front and scattered moisture staining on back. VG. 643 of 1,200, print set comes w/matching number booklet featuring each print image w/biography of artists. Pinch creases to spine w/some staple oxidation and dust soiling to cover. Fine/VF. Prints include art by - Guy Colwell (w/topless woman), Rory Hayes, Rand Holmes, Gary Hallgren (w/several mating cartoon rabbits), Spain Rodriguez, Jack Jaxon, Dan O'Neill, Robert Crumb, Robert Williams (w/topless women), Larry Todd (w/small sketch), S. Clay Wilson (w/topless women), Greg Irons and Rick Griffin, who provided portfolio cover art (reprinted for Griffin's print). Some scattered aging and dust soiling, but Exc. overall w/exception of Todd and Williams prints, which have some margin moisture staining and are Fine/VF.
