Item Description
2.5x3.25" printed on thin paper. These were originally issued as 5.5x8" sheets w/four cards per sheet that were meant to be hand cut and mounted in a corresponding album. These sheets were actual pages from the Cuban "Sports Almanac" magazine titled "Almanaque Deportivo." There are 160 cards in the set. Set features former and future Major Leaguers along w/Negro League and Caribbean stars. Great color photo front of HOFer Dihigo in his Cienfuegos Elephants uniform. Short bio text on back. Margins trimmed a bit unevenly w/bit of text missing from back left edge. Front is complete w/thin border on all sides. A rare and obscure card issue and this is one of the key cards in the set. A must have for the Dihigo collector. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
