Item Description
This catalog is for same company as previous item #1606 and features similar content, for 1941 year. Again, racks are pictured w/publications in place, including comic books and pulps of the era. Some of note include - "Superman" #2, "Action Comics" #19, "Detective Comics" #33 (featuring an early Batman cover), "Adventure Comics" #44 (featuring classic Sandman cover). Other titles include - "King Comics, More Fun Comics, Silver Streak Comics, Speed Comics, Ace Comics" and others. The same covers are featured multiple times throughout. Pulps of note include - "Secret Agent X, G-Men, Operator 5, Argosy" and others as well as newspapers w/comic sections showing. Cover has paperclip rust at top and some scattered penciling and dust soiling. Staples have oxidation w/some staining to cover. Fine overall. Rare as these catalogs saw limited distribution. Exceptional item for the comic historian.
