Item Description
Lot of three 1960s Cincinnati Reds items. Largest item is partially flocked fabric banner that measures 19.75x26.5" (28.5" long to ends of fringe tassels along bottom margin) featuring portrait image of Red Stockings mascot and "Cincinnati Reds 1961 Champions" text. That season the Reds were crowned NL Champions but lost the World Series to the New York Yankees (see banner, item #843). Banner has even aging and some scattered moisture staining and wear to flocking. Metal strip across top margin has noticeable bends. Fine overall. Smaller items include 1.5x1-5/8" metal case measuring tape featuring image of Rosie Reds mascot by Park Avenue. Metal tape extends and retracts. Exc. 1-3/8" dia. by 1" tall printer's block feature full body image of mascot Red Stockings and shows expected wear from use. Fine/VF.
