Item Description
10.75x15.5" celluloid over tin advertising sign w/easel back and metal loop for hanging. Late 1950s and used to promote Japanese raincoat company. Sign features photo image of Japanese Baseball HOF member Takehiko Bessho, who earned two Sawamura Awards, the Japanese equivalent of the Cy Young award. All text is Japanese. Lower right corner has 1" area of discoloration, o/w sign remains bright, glossy and clean w/just minor corner tip wear. VF.
