Item Description
12" tall plaster bank w/coin slot on back of jetpack. 1950s. Base has incised "© M.J. Golden & Co. Inc. - Pittsburgh, PA" and underside has circular inkstamp w/"Space Man Bank - Open Here - Copyrighted" and area is designed to be punched out. Ray gun has tip broken off, but this does not greatly detract from overall appearance. Back edge of base has .25x.5" flake off and back of shoulder has .25" flake. Fine overall, but still nice for display. Rare and first we've seen in our 49 years. Eric Renner Collection and the example shown on page 253 of his book "American Disguise."
