Item Description
"Obake no Q-taro" is a Japanese manga about an obake (spirit) named Qtaro (also spelled as Q-taro) who lives w/the Ohara Family. Qtaro (also known as Q-chan or Oba-Q) is a mischief-maker who likes to fly around scaring people and stealing food, though he is deathly afraid of dogs. Offered here is an original cardboard box w/illustrated lid that contains 9" long tin litho friction train that consists of locomotive and three attached cars. Made in Japan for the Japanese market by Takatoku Toy, 1960s. Box features sticker w/Qtaro image and has even lt. aging and shows some scattered lt. wear, more moderate at right. Fine overall. Toy features various graphics including Qtaro and manga title/logo on top of second car. Working and Exc. Scarce as boxed.
