Item Description
9.5x15.75x1.5" deep cardboard box w/wonderfully illustrated lid contains bagatelle-like game built into box tray and comes w/15.25x21.25" illustrated cardboard tri-fold gameboard. Made in Japan by Koide Shinkosha, 1960s. Produced exclusively for the Japanese market, game features character known as Astro Boy in the US, marketed under his Japanese name of Mighty Atom. Box lid features Mighty Atom fighting giant robotic beetle character. Creases at lid corners w/scattered dust soiling. Fine overall. Game appears complete w/plastic cone playing pieces, two generic marbles and two plastic tools. Bagatelle playing surface has scattered moderate age spotting (which is only really noticeable in yellow areas) and is Fine/VF overall. Gameboard is Exc.
