Item Description
18" long mostly tin litho rifle w/plastic barrel and rubber barrel tip/sight. Made in Japan by Tada, c. 1960s. Exclusive to the Japanese market. One of two different designs produced by this company (the other is Batman). General rifle design w/small Astro Boy image flying on stock w/his name in Japanese. Translucent red plastic ridged portion of barrel allows user to see spark, however this function no longer works though gun still makes loud rat-tat-tat noise. Trigger has moderate oxidation and gun has scattered paint nicks/scratches. Fine overall. Superbly designed.
