Item Description
Published in "Cracked" c. 1975. Lot consists of complete three-page story on thin artboards measuring 13.75x17.75" w/India ink and ink wash original art by John Severin. "Celebrities' Home Movies" features filmstrip style story featuring outdoorsman and proponent of natural diets Euell Gibbons eating trees; Carroll O'Connor walking by Polish retirement home only for seniors to attack him; Gerald Ford strolling, stopping to smell flower and falling into pool; Howard Hughes; Jack Nicklaus playing golf, Muhammad Ali getting punched out by his wife, who is then crowned "The Champ." First artboard has attached onionskin overlay w/colored text for title paste-over. Second artboard has center vertical panels and top half panel of right vertical strip being paste-over w/original art. Each page has inked note at top w/story name/page number. Margins have some editorial notes. Pages has some lt. even aging/handling wear but are VF/Exc. overall w/Exc. art. Superb and dense graphics throughout w/much humor.
